| June ’09 | Sweden | Leave June 1 for a week-long open source conference in Skövde. Then spend the rest of the month visiting the University of Örebro. |
| July ’09 | Poland | We have rented an apartment in the Kazimierz neighborhood of Kraków. |
| August ’09 | Cyprus | Spending a couple of weeks with Mom & Glenn in Paphos. Also seeing Dave, Mel & family in Heidelberg, Germany for a few days. |
| August-Sept. ’09 | Turkey/Croatia | A bit of touring through Turkey: Istanbul, Cappadocia, and the coast. Meeting Mark, Michelle & family in Rovinj, Croatia for a week. |
| October ’09 | South Africa | We will be renting a cottage in Cape Town this month. |
| November ’09 | Australia | Will be visiting Monash University in Melbourne for most of this month. Possible side trips in Australia and SE Asia. |
| December ’09 | New Zealand | Likely to spend a few weeks touring. |
| Christmas ’09 | Back home | Hoping to come back home for a few weeks during the holidays. |
| January-Feb. ’10 | Argentina | Probably a few weeks of general South America travel in January, followed by time in Argentina for wine, wildlife, etc. |
| March ’10 | Chile | Visiting scholar at the University of Chile in Santiago during most of March. |
| April-June ’10 | Azores, Portugal | Visiting scholar at the University of the Azores, Ponta Delgada, for these three months. |
| July ’10 | Spain/North Africa TBD | One last bit of travel before we return to normality. |
