Apologies for the late response. I don’t have any specific recommendations, but it was helpful for my former student to have contacted my (potential) host university before the application went in. The Fulbright office in Portugal is very helpful too, so don’t hesitate to contact them.

I am an Assistant Professor of Finance at the Business School of the University of Puerto Rico, and I am currently applying for a Fulbright in Portugal for the 2011-12 year, as a “researcher”. The deadline is on August 2nd. Do you any recommendations for the application process?
